Cabot Website Re-Design
Cabot Website Re-Design

When a brand outgrows its digital infrastructure, the problem goes beyond just visual — it's structural. This project meant untangling a fragmented platform, building a design system that could scale, and aligning many stakeholders around a single experience.
Key Highlights
Art directed and applied Cabot's updated visual identity across a full website redesign, consolidating seven individual property sites — serving a combined 70,000+ monthly visitors — onto one cohesive global platform.
Restructured site navigation by introducing primary and secondary menus that clarified Cabot's core verticals (golf, hospitality, and real estate) while surfacing previously buried e-commerce and key calls-to-action.
Shaped UX strategy through discovery sessions, user profiling, information hierarchy mapping, and wireframing in partnership with web development agency Channel13.

Former site navigation

New design of site navigation (prototype)
As Cabot rapidly grew from four to seven global destinations, its digital presence needed to evolve alongside the brand. The previous site structure was built around the individual properties and did not present Cabot as a cohesive global portfolio. Following a refresh of Cabot's global brand guidelines, I partnered with the Brand Director to champion and lead a full website redesign to bring all destinations into a single, unified platform.
I led the art direction and translation of Cabot's updated visual identity into a scalable digital design system, applying refined typography, colour palettes, logo usage, and layout principles across the site. Working closely with web development agency Channel13, I helped shape the UX strategy and restructured the site navigation, helping users understand what Cabot offered and where to go. The project also required coordinating across 7 destination teams and 7 internal teams, including IT, marketing, hospitality, product, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure the platform could support both the brand experience and the operational demands of a growing global business.
Cabot is a global developer and operator of world-class golf destinations, and a brand with a significant cultural presence — regularly featured in publications like Golf Digest, SCOREGolf, LINKS Magazine, GOLF.com, and Hypebeast, with each reaching audiences of 2M+ impressions. Its portfolio spans six premier properties across North America, the Caribbean, and Europe, each offering a distinct blend of championship golf, luxury real estate, and boutique resort experiences.
